Ahmedinjad has stated publicly that ‘Isreal should be whiped off the map’

And YES, he could have MEANT it the way that the regime @Israel should be removed. And that is something many people agree on tbh. Not saying me, it’s too fucked up as that i could judge clearly what should happen. No one can do it i guess.
The guy recently did a speech at a UN ANTI-RACISM CONFERENCE and within 5 minutes was slating Israel.
and called the regime there racist. Funny tbh, i can see the irony :))

I don’t think it has much to do with terrorism, it’s probably fear for the sharia(islamic religious law) that sets people off. The sharia indeed has some darker aspects. However only a small percentage of muslims acctually support it. So I don’t see any european country becoming an Islamic state anytime in the future.
o and tbh when people hear that im from israel they all of a sudden treat me different, like im a criminal or a killer, and thats just fucked up.
btw, xtala, believe me when i say i want peace and if it was up to me i would’ve done whatever it takes to achieve peace.

Oh btw, I don’t agree with a lot of things that Aahmadinejad does or says let alone Irans policy of executing people because of their sexual preference, but you shouldn’t judge people based on bad translations.
And he was imo quite right when he said that atm, Israel has got a pretty racist government. As I said before, Lieberman is about as much a racist as Hitler was.
Which I find ironic btw, he stats that Israel should be free of Arabs (that is correct right?) but, quite a lot of those Arabs have lived there longer than him.
a few things, maybe liberman is racist but hes NOT like hitler, i dont suppert his causes but when you say he’s like hitler its like saying that he organizes a plan to kill all muslims.
but if you call liberman hitler then you should call ahmadinjad the same, im against both of them.

Ofcourse it does not mean that he will indeed do what he says. In fact, it’s not very likely he will wipe Israel off the map anytime soon. However it’s still not really an aceptable thing for a president to say.
It was about the Holocaust denial, not about wiping Israel away (which is a stupid idea anyway, considering the IDF is a rather powerful army).
I’m not saying Lieberman is Hitler btw, I’m saying he is as much a racist as Hitler.
So after reading just two different sources im getting different meanings of what he actually said.

It is probably true about no such idiom (wiping a country of the map) existing in Arabic, so apologies for my ignorance. The guy is still a fruit cake and could be a future threat to our societies, thats all im saying.
I realise that fundementally Europe is built on Christianity, but this isnt exactly forced in our day to day business. I find it worrying how willing some of you are not to care about the possibilties of what could happen during the event of an Islamic republic coming into power in Europe. It is definintely a bad thing.
I’m not saying he’s no danger at all. I’m just saying it’s funny that every time it seems to work the same way. (Hello Saddam, how are you?) First they get him a bad image, then they tell everyone that apparently he’s got nukes or other WMD and then they walk in, shoot the shit out of the civilian population, who, (Yahtzee quote) eat each other after being stomped on their heads cause they are starving.
And yes, there’s also the story about Israel fueling up their nice fleet of bombers already. Just how i like it.

The fact that people believe in religions is to do with Faith, hence the name faith. Because you do not have the same idea as the billions of people around the world doesnt mean it must be banned.

I find religion an interesting thing,
while it is very dangerous (crusades, muslim extremism, …), one can’t deny that it has a huge impact on the culture of a region, and in some cases it has even caused a massive boost in scientific knowledge.
To ban religion would be too much, but the seperation state/religion should always be there.
