Ive got an idea to stop cheaters!

X-Ray = crap
TheSGL = crap
CAL-AC = crap
Bypassing them is way too easy, and almost every half decent hack wont get detected.
There are just a few AC tools that actually support the Orangebox-Engine (or still in development) and all of em are client side + ppl would have to pay for a few of them aswell = crap too :/
In counter-strike source they have a program called “cheat scanner” It forces the suspicious player to log on to any IRC program and then download a program and do the scan. Not sure about how it works, but I do know people who has good knowledge about it.
the thing is, you can never be sure that the hax isnt smarter than the AC. I’ve seen feature lists of certain “pay-hax”, which at least promised a “being safe from Aequitas” and also others.
lets all run punkbuster and get kicked for memory leaks because steam is bloat ware
Or maybe get kicked for commands like viewmodel_fov
In CoD4 punkbuster kicks (on pubs) for r_drawdecals 0 which is used by 90% of the competitive CoD4 community but yet punkbuster still kick for it.
I dont want something like that for Tf2… id rather have a few whiny cunts because to be frank, no one gives a shit, all they do is make themselves look like gullible idiots

afaik only cheat that can bypass it are kernel hacks
other ones won’t get screenshotted, but sglac scans your system and finds it

Every AC can be bypassed, so this won’t change anything to the problem.
