btw this mouse is quite pro, it only works in leet mousepads otherwise he just skips… which is very annoying tbh but once u have a proper surface it turns into crazy sprees so…
Yey!I found myself the perfect sensitivity – 2000 dpi and 4.6 tf2 sens.Thanks anyway.
i use 4000 dpi
on the fly sensivity: 7 on x axis and 6 on y axis
6 notch in windows
and 4 in game is it too much?
Do you feel it’s too much, Massi ?
If yes, then 4 IG sens is too much, yeah..
There’s no right and wrong, it’s all about personal preference.
I have Razer Lachesis. 800 DPI, Steelpad Qck+, no mouse acceleration and 1,2 sensy in game
800 dpi :O kinda low… unless u play on 640*480 res….
but why the hell having a 60€ mouse with 4000dpi and playing at 800? :S
anyway it is just like they said… is a matter of preference..
I cant stand 4000dpi for a reason, is too sensisitive for my pad, and it detects any little error I make while aiming.
I play on 1440×900, and I use 800DPI because with my latest mouse (Razer Diamondback) I played with 800. With low sensibility I can aim better :P
What about the polling rate? Does it really make that big of a diffirence? Mine is currently set to 1000Hz.
Yeah, i have 1000hz, you can see my driver settings http://box.jisko.net/i/8dc7c7.jpg
Dunno about the Lachesis but the g9 I’m using goes completely bonkers when the polling rate is set to 1000, 500 is the most stable for it- but see for yourself;
DL mouserate checker http://tscherwitschke.de/download/mouserate.zip (no install needed, extract & run) and see. If it jumps from low (400 or less) to very high settings (way above 1000) while moving your mouse in a quick, fluid move then 500 is your best bet.
Tbh low sens > high sens
Just getting lower and lower at the moment and its alot easier to get good shots etc and it does improve your aim alot more on the other hand it does make it a little harder to spaz about and keep an eye everywhere at once
glongas huge advise: new driver and firmware available long time already and it fixes some major issues.
You will prolly aim alot better after updating xD
Thanks J3 :)
Why would you buy a rather expensive mouse and then set it to 800DPI, you might as well use a regular one, since that’s about the standard DPI for any mouse.
