Oh god I had such hopes for this game.
I got an early opt in for the beta, and the game played amazingly. Best of all: Respawn promised competitive features and prizes!

3 months later:
DLC download maps, free skins (shouldn’t it be the other way around) and no comp. features.

DICE pulled off the exact thing for BF3: promise a lot of competitive features, never implement them.

I wonder why this kinda thing happens especially with such big companies. Even if comp isn’t a big focus, it’s surely not that much money to spend for it, and they will get something out of it. I guess they are happy with milking just the casuals…
