2nd picture, his face is priceless.
He got from his exploded rocket to the rover with a little jetpack, so very daring, masculine and downright hero worthy and then sat there crying like a little girl as he spun wildly dropping to his inevitable doom.
What a douche.
Starting a base on the Mun, (no, I don’t care if you don’t care), with a huge beast of a rocket launching a base module. All designed by me. The lander turns into a rover with a little thrust from a tiny rocket and retractable landing legs. Have a look why don’t you:

Sadly enough I’m so into this game right now looking at other people’s screenshots gives me some nice inspiration for stuff I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise.

Been playing if for a few days now with Wai and DanAnderson. Very addictive and also gives you a huge sense of achievement when you get something right. I’ve already been to the Mun and back twice and to Minmus and back. I’ve found myself thinking about more efficient rocket builds during the day. Current objective is to build a Space Station (two segments finished). Dan has his almost finished and it’s a beaut.
Really looking forward to the career mode.

Wow Coleman, that is some serious rocket for a Mun mission!
I like ’em big myself but just so you know, this rocket here gets to the Mun easy enough. You can find the .craft file on our website here if you fancy having a look. Feel free to have a go with it, it’s elegant and lovely. You’ll see the rest of my beastly contraptions there as well.
All the Welsh getting involved with the space race. I live in Cardiff meself but. Nice.

It over did the Mun job and also it left me with a lot of fuel when i got back from Minmus. Really tempted to see if it gets me to Duna or Eve and back. I’ll have a look at those craft files i recon. Guess us Welsh are natural rocket scientists! ^_^
Just from looking I reckon that would easily get to either. Assuming you got the asparagus staging down. The munbase was 5 landings…many, many more launches! My 15 mainsail beast is slightly tricky to get up without numerous explosions.
Was overly happy when I managed to get close to my first landing without any ‘help’ from mechjeb. This game. I would marry it.
Yeah i started researching a bit after day two and the asparagus system seemed really good. So i’m looking to develop that in to more the 7 rockets. What’s mecjeb?
MechJeb, (Mechanical Jeb), is an add-on available from the Kerbal Spaceport. It’s an autopilot and stats thingy. I’d ignore it to start with and learn to fly these things manually first.
I do use the Kerbal Engineer redux which will give you details on your craft as you build it, such as delta v by stage and thrust to weight ratios. Really useful.
I just got the Procedural fairings last night as well for making my rockets look like sperms or dildos, which is the idea for ALL space races as far as I know.
The mod community is huge for this game, there’s extra parts and so much stuff you can add into the game already.

Bit of a long video but it’s worth sticking with. Just incredible to be honest. Me play with lego, he build skyscrapers!
