Greykarn(in charge of esports at Dreamhack) posted a interesting article: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=sv&sl=sv&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Frakaka.se%2F%3FnewsID%3D19161
So what do you expect from a game thats gonna be the next “big” esport?
I want to read but translate is so bad :C can you tl;dr?
Tribes is boring, shootmania is too simple, quakelive is too old and cs:go is nothing new.
Fps is fucked till quake 5 comes around.

all your statements are BS
Team Fortress 3
Nothing, e-sports is currently on a down turn due to market trends and of course the euro crisis etc.
E-Sports has had it’s day and I will be very surprised if we ever see anything the size of CGS, CPL World Tour and WCG again
call of duty
As greykarn stated, there is no “new” game that can develop into a new esport, there has to be something else made(maybe indie?) that can fill the purpose.
So my question was: How do you want it to be? 6vs6, 5vs5, 4vs4, 1vs1? different classes? respawn or rounds, playable in browser etc to be both enjoyable to play and spectate.
