so basically, we’re doing a class trip to copenhagen for 5 days in february and I was wondering if there was anyone who might know some things to do which are ‘pedagogic’. we’re a 3B, which equals (afaik) 1 or 2 G HTX (which is about maths at the age of 16-17, correct?), so I thought we could maybe visit a school where we can maybe spend a day experiencing the educational systems of denmark. so yeah, if anyone maybe knows some things which could help me, would be awesome :) thanks alot :)
1st year of HTX here. Not in cph, but still HTX. Anything I could help with?

Ah yeah, sort of. Live in Aarhus, about 3 hour drive away if I recall.
Guess I can’t really help all that much then, best of luck with your trip anyways.

A day to learn about the Danish education system, that sounds pretty boring really, and there are plenty of schools that is likely to be a waste of time.
My best tip would be to visit something within the field of design or architecture, for which the Danes are in the very front, as a specific target by the Danish government. There are 4 schools in Denmark to receive extensive support within that field, 1 of them is in Copenhagen – The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (otherwise known as The Danish School of Design) http://www.dkds.dk/

dont forget to put your pants in your socks.
am i the only 1 thinking that it’s a bit sad that torden is the only 1 who actually gave a proper answer? :D
anyways, Christiania is a good place to go if you trust ur students and they have some sort of interest in social studies or culture i guess. You wont find a place like Christiania anywhere else, and it’s not a violent or scary place.
Perhaps something about H.C.Andersen if you want some litterature
(there’s a museum dedicated to him in cph)
I’m on my 3rd year of gymnasium my self, and tbh i would probably not enjoy the idea of going to a school and learning about the country’s educational system.
I would be more interested in the culture of the country i was visiting.
this is just what i can think of right now.
perhaps check out http://www.visitdenmark.dk or http://www.sightseeing.dk if u haven’t already.
