Misconception, according to reliable historical sources such as tax records/Cencus etc, we can conclude that Jesus was the son of Mary & Joseph, he was a teacher of people, was crucified after being trialled by pontious Pilate (and exchanged for Barrabas) at Golgotha and bore his cross from Calvary. He was then buried in a Rich mans tomb which
was guarded by a few hundred Roman Legionaries and wasn’t there a few days later.
Now whether he’s the messiah or not; that’s debatable.
Jesus’ birth was actually somewhere around March, but the date was aligned with the celts midwinter solstice around 25th December
