Well first of all english is said to be one of the hardest to learn because there are tons of exceptions to many of the “rules”. It may not necessarily be the hardest, I don’t know what languages Matt’s dad speaks or teaches and it may be the case that something like Russian is thought to be harder to learn. However your response about that part of it was stupid and you may want to consider trying to come off as less arrogant in the future.
