Yeah basically every visual element looks a little too “borrowed” from other games. But hey, let’s just consider it “inspiration”, cause if the game itself works and feels consistent, there’s not much wrong with that imo.

The RTS looks way too shallow for a Starcraft comparison. This feels more like Science and Industry, where the RTS part is mainly about progressing through the techtree. And the rest gives more of a CoD MW feel… Sprinting to the next kill, getting extra points, leveling up, putting down a sentry here and there.

Weird that they just release a video like that, and their homepage doesn’t even have any information yet. Usually, when a game is in this stage, they would have a rough game design outline on the site, with planned gamemodes, items, and the main dynamics of the game. Now we really don’t know anything but that you race to put down those resource towers and try to get better weapons as fast as possible. And drop some turrets in the process.
