got a canadian in my class, learning dutch, he can speak it fluently after being in belgium for about a month

dutch is a perfect base to be able to pronounce other languages without an overly obvious accent!

I’m actually starting to notice the difference between vijf & wijf, so maybe there’s something to be said for this speaking with Belgians lark :D
