even if tf2 would make it , i doubt that a lot teams would attend
1. the event will be in china…so 6 flights to china + hotel and so on…
2. the national organizers for the wcg have to pay a entry fee for every player participating, which is more than 1000€, thats why last year already manny nations didn`t send a cs team (germany for example) or some nations even didn’t send any players
They arrange qualifiers, you qualify and mgos will pickup you up.

sending a cs teams costs 12.500€ ( http://www.wcg-europe.com/de/news/27541.html german news why they didn’t send the cs team to wcg 2010 in LA), so a tf2 team would be 15.000€ and you aren’t allowed to wear any team/sponsor clothes, cos of the wcg sponsors
thats why usually no mgo’s pay for the teams but the national organizer and i doubt you would be able to find a mgo that would pay 15.000€ for a tf2 team, especially if they can’t really promote their sponsors
