hi!
i’m hoping to make a highlights video from the i39 lan!! it’s my understanding that skyride is looking to make more of a fun/humor vid with IRL lan footage and that kind of thing so hopefully this isnt stepping his toes :9
you can submit demos to [email protected], OR message them to me on IRC. daniel- on quakenet
the ideal format would be a .zip or .rar with the demo and a text file with the tick in it, with your alias in the filename somewhere. if you don’t have a pov demo, there are stv demos from the games hosted here :http://www.fileplay.net/files/events/i39/tf2-6v6/double-elimination?page=1 so you can point me to one if you’d like.
when uploading, PLEASE use filefront, or basically just NOT megaupload or rapidshare. i’m on a university network and those two are basically unusable for me.

Ye man, pretty much. Looks like I might be struggling footage wise though so it might not even happen. :s

Should note though, its not like I just wanted to make a lulzy video, I just wanted to throw a bit of that in there at the middle to show there was more to the LAN than the top 4 teams.

Ofcourse it’s stepping in his shit, i’d prefer skyride to do it simply on the basis that he was actually there and apart of the event.
But yea, if i really have to watch 2 movies then it just seems pointless that you try and jump on the mr.popular bandwagon and give us a second movie that will quite honestly, contain exactly the same frags as Skyrides. Using the “Oh, he’s using lan footage so therefore mines different and required” is irrelevant. I was envisioning good frags, lan footage, and melee rounds vs lower tier teams in Skyrides, which sounded pretty cool if i’m honest.
GL with it anyway.

Not really Ziggy. This guy wants to make a community frag video. Skyride wanted to make a community video.
The main differences were that skyride wanted content in the form of jokes and banter; rather then “oh so srs” skills.

i didn’t see his thread and then decide to copy him, i’ve been planning on doing this for about a week, though it was originally conceived as a dignitas lan vid
hopefully there won’t be too much repetition though :>

dude what is ur problem? hes wanted to do this since before the lan and skyride just said he might not be doing his, what is ur fucking issue with fucking knocking daniel for no apparent reason… grow the fuck up and stop jumping down his throat cause he wanted to do a movie of i39
