Hey, it works great – but I’m trying to get MPlayer and the download link doesn’t work. It says something along the top about the file not being found, and I couldn’t find the file anywhere else by googling “MPlayer-p4-svn-29319.7z download”
should work. Thanks for letting me know about that, updated the tutorial with a working link.

Yep, thats it working – thanks a lot for the quick reply :).
Btw, I love this tool, it makes recording and compiling so easy, used to take me ages with the old command line one.
when i play demos back, there all laggy, any help ?

You mean when your recording them to avi or tga? If it’s really laggy and the sound loops, thats normal, don’t worry about it.
Now I have a question too though, I got the recording compile thing to work, but now when I compile to h264, I can’t import it into sony vegas 8, when I compile to lossless avi, I only get sound. Any idea’s why?
you need to configure huffYUV to get it to work in vegas. http://www.pldx.com/blog.php/2009/06/team-fortress-2-movie-recording-guide/ read configuring huffYUV
Nope, I tried that – still won’t import. I downloaded the two things, and did exactly what it says, but when I try to drag it onto the timeline it just gives me a little stop sign. Oh, and I can play it normally just by double clicking on it, plays through with sound pretty much perfectly, if a little laggy.

Some Tools have been disabled because some files in the mplayer foldier are missing, if you want to revoke this, please reread the Helpguide.
I downloaded the mplayer stuff, but this message still comes up :s
What am I gonna do?
edited: nvm, forgot to download mp4box , workes now :)
