my video laggs (sony vegas 8)

I got an 8600GT that should be enough to make an tf2 fragmovie i though
but if i render it it is laggin anyone know the problem of this?

I had the same problem, it could be the hard disk with low rpm, like 5400 i think…

Render as uncompressed in vegas then compress in virtual dub maybe

do you record tga’s then put them together Virtual Dub or do you startmovie blabla avi?

well i neer made a fragmovie so :p
i just record ingame as usual and got fraps >.> yes i know

And than just get the fraps record into SV8.0 and render my movie
and now it laggs so hard

So if you record the footage with fraps, then import into Vegas, the problem must be with your render settings. Do you use custom settings or just use a preset? Assuming the fraps footage is fine before you bring it into vegas.

I use low graphs ingame with record high actually ingame i got like70-100 fps

Anyone got some rendering options for Adobe After Effects (CS4)? My video comes out either with sound an no video or the other way around..

Well you basicly answered your question, the problem is Fraps.
Tip: Dont use it
