The day has finally arrived. Things are going to look so much better on yutube now. I don’t believe there are any restrictions on who can upload or watch 60fps videos either, so this should go over in history as one of the only times youtube ever managed to improved their site instead of making it worse.

yup works pretty nice
for those who don’t know, you need:
-chrome
-html5 player
-load video in highest quality

As someone who uses SVP to interpolate the framerate of all videos to 50-60 fps and loved the HFR version of the Hobbit due to the smoother experience, I am very happy about that.
I hope this will slowly convince everyone (including Ubisoft, heh) this framerate is way better for videos and games, if a bit weird at first, if you are used to the motion blurred antique framerate we have right now for almost everything.

I used to watch movies @120fps with this tool. Was fun but kinda weird :p

Yeah, you get quite a lot of artifacts if you extrapolate too high. I found doubling the source framerate to be acceptable. Still some artifacts, but worth it for the general higher smoothness.
First MoG in 60fps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEs_IS1_DpQ
Merry Meatshots in 60fps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_HB1Q_0D6I
Will reupload some more of my movies soon on my channel! ;)
