Snuke Frag Video

It’s finally finished! Well it was done a week ago, but had a few hiccups rendering/encoding/uploading it. But, I finally got it up on filefront and I’m hoping it’s all good.
This is my first attempt at movie creation, and I must say I’ll be doing a lot of things differently next time around, especially consistency in POVs demos and STV ones, smoother camera movements and quality. More than anything, I think this is an experiment in syncing, and I hope you guys like it.
Frags are from our first three games in the league. Enjoy!

edit2: Not always amazing frags, but nice editing. I love the top left thingy with the player/class, any hint on how you did that?
The end was a bit strange :)

Thanks for all the comments guys and thanks for the HD stream Tuna. Was uploading it to Wegame for quite a while now. This’ll save me time ;D
As I said, this movie was an experiment for myself, getting my eye into movie editing, learning the lay of the land in terms of Vegas, using effects, overlays, key frames and syncing. I’m glad people liked that. Demo Smoothing was something that I wanted to try, but it being buggy with STV, discouraged me.

I was fiddling around with green screen footage for the movie, and bumped into the Chroma Keyer video fx in Vegas. With the following options:

Low Threshold 0.672
High Threshold 0.739
Show mask only – ticked

you can get it to do the same effect. Put it over your actual frag video track, resize the video, add some blur to blend the rough edges and voila, you’ll have your own little man on the screen.

Very impressed with Grem, looks like a very good scout for the level.

Bit weirded out by the aim of they.said in the first 70 seconds or so. Never seen someone twitch like that with a shotgun and land every shot before; impressive none the less :)

Should do, I’ve never seen anyone play like that before, so I assume the top players are also like that which means Snuke should get somewhere pretty quick! =]
