just one, to check if your tf2 is still running, but it checks every 3 seconds :x

That’s really strange. “Steam.exe -appcode 440” is how steam runs tf2 when you launch it normally. Are you sure you wrote your steam path correctly? I’m running out of ideas here
Oh my god i’m an idiot. The command you were supposed to run was
[steampath]/Steam.exe -applaunch 440 -dxlevel 98
not appcode, sry :c

What do I do with all the targa files? How do I make them into a video?
Skyride made a pretty good guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeU0M4XaL4k&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL partway in when he gets to virtualdub is what you’re looking for.

heres the output from comodo. IT lists multiple vb scripts which was recorded then opening the program. Not sayings its malicious or anything, but if you say theres only one, what do the other vbscripts do?
just generally interested on how you made it :)

It’s the same script running every 3 seconds to check if your tf2 is still open. I didn’t find any other way to check, because tasklist.exe doesn’t work on all windows versions.

Thanks! But when I do the same as him in virtualdub, my video is broken, broken audio and moves in bits and pieces.

Did you try to open up the file that you compressed directly? Cus its 2 GB big and takes aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages to open from your Hard Drive. I think part 2 goes over rendering it in AfterEffects to get a viewable one.

Yes, now it starts tf2. I’ve tried to reinstall java but it still doesn’t work.
