waster’s plugin is giving me some trouble
screen is completely grey whenever the view is not first person (whenever me/the guy in the demo dies/spectate or when i watch stv demos) and it also causes the game to crash when i press “Go To”
any idea what might be the problem?

I have around 10gb worth of footage right now, everything capped @ host_framerate 90 and run through virtualdub (making a 800mb file go too 3gb, wtf)
Anyhow, in vegas, everything is buggy, laggy and choppy. What kind of settings and such would I need to see the footage in normal speed :S

Is it only buggy in preview or also after you have rendered it?
Only buggy in preview, haven’t tried rendered it.
Render : Just let the machine figure out what’s goin on (Then, how?) Or:
Render: Make a new avi file, so I have 6gb in 3 separate files on a 20sec clip?
It is usually buggy in Vegas cos it’s not rendered or compressed yet. If u don’t want it to be choppy, try reducing the quality a bit to maybe Preview (Half) or Draft (Half). This isn’t representative of your finished movie, so don’t worry.
Why can’t I play the avi which is created when I make a movie? During playback of a demo I use the following binds to start/stop movie:
Start: “cl_drawhud 0 ; startmovie Movie avi”
Stop: “endmovie ; cl_drawhud 1”
I choose “Uncompressed” at the beginning and then the computer works its ass off making the movie. But the avi file located in Team Fortress 2 folder, which is correctly named “Movie”, is unplayable in both VLC and WMP (even though I have the CCCP codec on my computer). What to do?
the file will be to big for your computer to play. but you can play it in your editing program(vegas, etc) without a problem
when I am typing in console startmovie my computer stucks :
any solutions?
edit: maybe I didnt choose what codec to use? how do I choose then?

I can’t find Wasters Script anymore / link is broken. Is there another way to remove the namesigns in the middle of the screen?
I am using cl_drawhud 0 but I still want to see the kill list, what’s the command to draw the kill list?

I have a few questions.
1. When I am starting to record(startmovie fragmovie avi) the game stucks, and yes I am in windowed mode…any way to fix that?
2. Then I started recording by startmovie fragmovie and then I get a lot of tga files so I am going into virualdub and then improting the first tga file,then choose 90 fps because I recorded on 90 fps and then when I am going video->compression the program stucks :| what should I do?
3. I want to cancle all hud except the kill list in the upper right side, how can I do that?

so
1) if you want to render as avi, and after that you typed it, a little window will appear, where you have to choose a codec – press an alt-tab combo (:D)
2) i don’t know, sorry
3) in my previous post there is a .zip (the link), that removes everything on the hud, except the killlist
