Ok so heres the thing: when I launch the TF2 Rec tool and press “Start Team Fortress 2” it gives me this error message: Can’t find background image ‘materials/console/background01_widescreen.vtf’.

Thats ok, so I cant make movies. But every time I try starting TF2 after that, I get “The game is unavaible right now” from Steam.

If I reinstall TF2 it runs until I try starting it with the Rec Tool.

Someone pls help, I promised my friend to make a movie and I’m stuck here.
