smoothing bug

hi,
smoothing and stuff is working, but the weird thing is, that if i am too far away, the enemies disappear. for example on badlands at cp1. im standing on our control point and the enemies push from the left side. so i wanted to smooth in that hallway. but its not any good, because i can only see the enemies when they are almost through the door.
is there any way to fix this? and if not, how can i make a smooth fly on a sourcev demo (because you cant smooth that)
Another question: In one clip, i want to have it say “LOL” on the screen. but i want to have it stay in the clip on one place, say next to a soldier, even if i am moving it has to stay there. does anyone have a good tut for that?

didnt work :( (yes i had sv_cheats 1 and yes i tried it without the pldx tool)
for the first problem, you’ll need a nearer pov, because the source engine records only the “actual” scene, so if you are behind for example, a massive wall, the models behind that wall, they disappear and etc
and on sourcetv, you can use the freecam, just move the camera freely
for the second one, if you use ae, use the keyframes to position them on the timeline
