Basically when i render in vegas i get this weird ghosting whenever theres a lot of movement on the vid. The best example of this is here at 0:05

Its purely a problem with vegas, the raw footage is fine. Its not a problem with ajaX encoding because if i render as wmv it does the same as when i render as avi.

Im assuming theres some settings i need to change or something, just have no idea what.

Cheers,

Do you have your Pixel aspect ratio set to 1000 in vegas movie settings?

Nice effect btw =)

could be caused by a plenty of things.

in genereal you should deactivate resampling, your deinterlacing-settings should be set to “interpolating” and the fieldorder have to be “progresive”.

those settings gave me the best results.

Maybe try ‘rendering quality’ as ‘best’ and maybe frame rate to 30 rather than 29.97….although I doubt the diference would matter.
