Demo smoothing bug Sighhhhhhhhhh

Im making a movie atm and im trying to do some smooths but my tf2 wont let me! Basically, what happens, is when i click the ‘forward one tick’ button my game disconnects from the private server (in other words, the demo). Apart from that everything works fine. Iv tried verifying game files and iv deleted my tf2 folder then ran the game again. I even tried it on my laptop and i had the same problem.
Its really annoying me and i was wondering if any of you other movie makers have had this problem and whether you managed to fix it etc.

Someone must have an answer to this :( My whole project will be ruined if i cant get smoothing to work.
Yeh iv tried loads. All have the same problem. Even when im not smoothing, when i click foward one tick it just disconnects. If i click resume, it loads the demo again from where it crashed.
are you using pldx, cause i had similar probms?
The tool is broken, you can’t go forward by one tick at a time. The only way to do this is lower the velocity so it runs really slowly and pause at the tick that you want.
I was using pldx on my PC but not on my laptop so that kinda rules it out.
Cla: Cheers, i’ll try doing that, seems like it could work (and might be easier :o). By, “the tool is broken”, do you mean it is for everyone?
