pldx tool is just as easy..

This, at first I actually spent loads of time doing it without it, putting all my settings to high etc. etc. Then copy and pasting what I want to record in console then opening up console to stop etc.

PLDX tool is dead easy, not only that but your guaranteed amazing quality as well, it also comes with a good encoding tool.

And afaik another version is coming out.

yep everything that War said, you want something that has a start and stop button…

open pldx, load demo, go to tick, f12 start, f12 end.

and voila!

When you’re not a basement dweller and actually earning money, it’s much easier to pay for software than to go to some BT site and pirate it without a second thought. =/

Anyway, +1 to PLDX from me, too. Much more convenient than the older method of stitching images, heh.

When you’re not a basement dweller and actually earning money, you won’t be buying easily cracked software for amateur moviemaking.

Ok another nub question what file format or way do people render their movies? Since a small little movie ive just put together as a test barely 2 mins in length is saying it would take 23 gig!

£50 thats not much cash at the end of the day, one day you will discover the pub and you will piss away alot more of your wages there each week!

Playing around last night and made this, the only problem is the big black border around the outside, I think it was put inplace when I used windows movie maker to convert my avi’s into a format which vegas could read.

Is there anyway to get rid of them in vegas or do I need to convert my avis in a diffrent way?

If I record an avi then I put it through virtual dub and that seems to work fine in vegas then.

You could always just crop and zoom to get rid of the border mebbe, but that will lower quality I s’pose.

Try using the pldx rcording tool and recording in tga instead, works with a lot less bugs than the avi in my experience.
