Ive just purchased sony vegas 10, when I put my avi demos into vegas all I get is a black screen and the sound effects playing, ive looked on google and all the problems are all linked to vegas 8/9 is there a fix im missing for vegas 10?
Or do I have to download the third party programs to change the formats of my avi demos (I use xfire to record the clips) My system is windows 7 64 bit.
Sorry for the nub question just seems a bit silly that they havent fixed a known bug over two whole upgrades.
If you’re using lossless footage in Vegas (which you should be) then you wont be able to playback the edit in realtime because the filesize is too much for your HDD to handle. If you want to preview footage in ze timeline, you can do a RAM-Preview by selecting a short segment and hitting SHIFT + B.
its quicktime, if you have version 7.6 of quicktime uninstall it and install quicktime 7.5

Not crack it?
There comes a time in everyone’s life when they decide “you know what? I’ll just pay for it”.
I know this is a strange, foreign concept – but strangely it does happen to a lot of people.
Of course getting out of your teens and earning a decent amount helps this process along. ;P
WTF Sony Vegas 10 is out? I can’t find anything on the sony website
Why not record using the in game features, makes it a lot easier in the long run.
I mean if you’re spending the money on vegas it’s a bit silly doing a hack job with something like fraps.

The only reason ive been using xfire is thats its very easy to use, press button to start and stop is there a way to make it that simple inside tf2 itself?
pldx tool is just as easy..
