As the title says, if I record to AVI then I get a message saying the file is empty when I try to load them anywhere, but if I use the TGA it records with no sounds at all.

Also when I run the tool I get a message saying: ‘Some tools have been disabled because some files in the mplayer folder are missing……’ I deleted all the files and re-downloaded but with no effect, can anyone help?

The latter is normal if you don’t download the encoder, you don’t need it though, it’s not related to your problem.

As for no sounds, are you sure there is no WAV?

Cheers guys, I just needed to go to ‘Audio from a different file’ in virtual dub and then pick the wav file. Thank you.
