I’m constantly experiencing a weird bug on barnblitz_pro5 only (pro4 is ok). Every time I’m being killed and respawned, all player models and environment including the cart are disappearing. I can see only moving shadows on a ground. After that TF2 usually crashes. Any ideas why is this happening and how can be fixed?

most recent update had some changenote about this so it should be fixed

I honestly wouldn’t recommend playing on pro5 anyway – it was more of a step between pro6 (if we ever eventually make it) and pro4, and has some very obvious flaws that make pro4 better atm

Thank you for your work and efforts to make barnblitz better, but you really need to do something with this issue as soon as possible, because this version has already got spread on TF2C. People are preferring pro5 nowadays.

UPD: Seems this issue ain’t connected with barnblitz only.

Though I was meeting this bug only on the latest barnblitz. I’ll try to use the suggested fix from that thread.

as requested, a ‘bandage’ to pro5 will be released as pro6 – there may be another version in the future with other ideas, but with the season coming up we’ll be limiting this version to minor changes on top of the major changes already made to pro5

heighten the far left box so that it only takes one jump on the ‘steps’ there rather than the 2 currently required

move this healthpack and the ammo on the other side to where my cursor is placed so that the sniper can’t permanently abuse it

heighten this prop/replace it with something taller to block the sniper sightline when standing at the very back of that wall

replace the milk jugs with something taller so that the heavy can more easily cross over onto the top platform

move this sign up so that it doesn’t block people

make this route more accessible/faster to get through – extend the platform to the roofing, and add a box so that there’s something more easy to jump on

add a taller prop here so that attacking heavys aren’t as easily killed (maybe leave till pro7 because of the changes already made to last)

remove this fence but keep the one to the left, the one on the right only makes things chokey without nerfing attacking sightlines

When are you releasing the map? Get some spreadsheet mixes going on it as soon as possible, make sure to ask people for feedback etc. You know the drill. :)

Make sure this isn’t possible: http://puu.sh/glik2/c6e1022e3f.jpg As a black box red soldier can just sit up there all day, it’s such an easy spot to defend from. I am not sure but I don’t think stock pl_barnblitz allows you to stand there. Either way, it’s too defensible atm.

mix on pro5 on thursday 19cet for any final feedback, fubar will work on the map over the weekend, pro6 hopefully out after the weekend for us to mix on tuesday (ugc monday)
