New custom update for map ctf_turbine (pro_rc1) have been released.
When we created turbine_pro_b1 http://etf2l.org/forum/maps/topic-15092/?recent=274380 we were intimidated by recieving a huge number of threatening messages and due to this massive pressure we decided to release modified version through the side accounts
_b2 changes:
1. In BLU Team lobby there are some old boxes now, so our beloved BLU Team can easy get health-pack. We have refused to provide some old boxes for RED Team, cos we really love BLU guys (even some strange people have offered big money for this).
2. A secret room was created in both lobbies. Unfortunately there was an explosion during the building in RED Team lobby, one constructor has died, but… Forget about that. The main thing is that there are lots of bare wires, so we couldn’t start work, hope you will understand…
3. The distant fence in the flag-room was removed, so the area was increased.
Also: our architect Vasiliy Volkov has gone to the booze, so he can’t imagine new good ideas for improvements of this map. That’s why we will be glad to take any tips and suggestions.

_rc1 changes:
1. Some texture bugs were fixed.
2. Bug with immaterial ceiling in lobby was fixed.
3. Fixed the bug when you can see players in ventpipe from lobby. youtube.com/watch?v=RZcuO–Z6gk&
4. Improved lighting, broken reflection on the middle floor was fixed.

remove the box and add the original invisible pillar to get the health. b1 with the invisible pillars and its perfect.

in essence…a couple of boxes were added.
Still think this map needs more ammo drops and its still not right. There MUST be better CTF alternatives.
The ammo packs on the middle point should be medium packs. There are still a lot of visual bugs and dumb places that you can hide stickies inside. And there are no patches under any of the health or ammo packs. Also the hand rail on the bit with the medium health pack should be removed.

A visible slope would be better then an invisible one to be honest.

Its really high-paced at the moment, pretty intense. I like it. Some Brainfarts: I think making the “banana” door open from only 1 way would make it better. So attackers can use it to get in, but can’t get out through it anymore. Also a timer on that door would be great. Because every single team I played sends 1 scout there at the start of the round. This means that on the initial mid fights no scouts are involved (2 attacking intel, 2 defending). If the banana door would be unusable for the first 30 sec that might change.
i start to hate these map
remove those new coridors
make ammo bigger on mid
make int room bigger
THESE IS ALL WHAT SHOULD BE
Personally, I don’t even think CTF works as 6v6. The only way I can see it being worth it is to make the maps twice as big and run 8v8/9v9.
best way to do is like tfc pickups are playing
