First of all. ETF2L is an excellent league with nice and competent admins. Keep up the good work :)

The only thing that i feel can be changed is, and it’s not tiny, the length and the number of teams in the groups. The big problem now are all the teams who dropps. I meen the only reason to be in the league is to play :) And with 3-4 teams dropped you only play 5-6 matches on a season. So i suggest one big season instead. From autumn to spring, with some break like over christmas. Lets say 30-40 teams per group.

This way we are gonna meet more teams, especially for the high skilled. Today there is one Div 1 and two Div 2, thats 30 teams. Of course can the difference betwin a top team in Div 1 and a low team in Div 2 (today) be huge, but so what? :) I believe the difference isn’t that huge.

I see one problem with one long season though :) And it’s all new teams who sees the daylight after the season started and must wait almost one year to enter the league. This can be fixed with an ETF2L Ladder so they can play matches while they’re waiting for next season :)

I agree on that the hompage is very good and the admins are doing a great job.
The homepage is simple without a lot of distracting blinking commercials and crap…

Some minor details to improve that I have thought of is :

– In the right column there are headlines like “Recent activity” and “Recent demos” displaying the latest five results and demos. Sometimes I am interested to see more of the latest results and demos and not just the last five.
Therefore I think it would be nice if the headlines were “klickable”. By klicking for example “recent results” you should then get a larger list of more of the recent results, containing say the 30 latest matches.

QuadV/Gamefire coverage is really superb for the community, though they could do with having a knowledgeable player to help the casting.When we played 4K for instance, I think having say Moose to help A_Spec out and just make some comments on tactics etc would really improve the cast.

More coverage = win though. I love watching TF2 games ‘cos I’m sad :]

Of course QuadV may get in a respectable audience and their setup is good, but the above reasons is exactly the why I said it :)

Things I’d like to see as a player and admin

More league servers – the ones we have at the moment are good but some people ping high to them, maybe one in .se and one in uk would be good, anyone want to make a donation?

Keep the map pick system as to me it adds a little more thought about your opponents and your own stregnths and weaknesses.

If retaining the div 2a/b/c structure, spread the divisions equally on terms of skill (as much as possible)

Review the rules on pretty much everything so we can be sure we are treating teams in a fair and productive manor

“possibly” use server side plugin to remove random damage, or at least lessen it?

Aim to bring in even more tf2 teams than last season, 390 is not enough!

If we get sponsered – sourcetv relays – prizes – LANs (years away for that though)

Fair and productive manor lol :D I prefer to live in no-cheat mansion myself.

An official etf2l sourcetv relay would be nice for bigger matches, 4k’s stv tends to get full fast.
