Mix Night?

Or maybe just make a steam group of people who like to mix, then just arrange it thorugh steam friends and ask people you may not have played with before but heard of.
But i like the concept of getting 12 together, picking captains etc.
Anyone who likes mixing 11pm-2am CET add me ;D

It seems more people like the idea. i think it could be usefull for d6 to d3 players to make known each other. And can be a fun night for some teams, and maybe a lost of time for some other. Dunno, but make this happen.

How about a fun cup with random damage spread and crits on with higher class limits :D and maybe With random teams :D As in individual players and maybe 1 buddy can sign up And they get put in with 4 other random players

1. 120 slot ventrilo.
2. wannabe captains put “captain” in their comment, in the case of TF2 it should probably be a medic?
2.5 remaining players put in the classes they can play
3. Admins then drag and drop captain/medics to one of 24 team channels labelled Team 1, Team, 2, Team 3 etcetc… in which they then ask for the team name to make it “Team 1 – Super Sausages”
4. Admins then go from top to bottom, bottom to top, asking each captain who they want to choose out of everybody in that single channel (so the bottom guy get’s 2 picks and makes it more fair since the guy at the top went first)
Channel 1 plays channel 2, channel 3 plays channel 4, blablabla
5. Finals streamed
cod4 used to do it and it worked really well, always full, sometimes people fake nicked but it was still fun. Multiplay.co.uk provided all of the servers.

If the captains pick their players it will just be a clan/friends team stack, think it would be best to distribute players random. It would be something like a huge lobby cup night but with skillful team players.
Ye pretty much what FlagZero said, the whole point is to speak to people you’ve never met, not just play a fun cup. ;)

You guys got it all wrong, see the beatuy of doing double-mixes is finding the right ppl. So it wont end upp like a fail-game, there should be balanced picks, and not gay-captain-systems, I am usually organizining double-mixes every night, with the support of either demsi or vladi. It works great, since we have a system. Random double-mixes wont work, so my suggestion is that friends should stick together and organize such activities.
