Well, people telling me that it is rude to write down in someones recutement post that he is shit, or at least that he is never at that skill level what he thinks about himself.
I really would like to know how the rules are in etf2l about writing down my own oppinion about sth or someone. Because i am never really sure if i could get banned for that what i was writing down there or not.
I think no-one has a problem with you posting a player isn’t as good as he says he is. It’s more the manner in which most people do it that takes offense. I’m sure it’s fine if you just say something like: “I played with this guy a few times, but his aim is not up to par yet for div 3 i think.” Just don’t simply say “This player is shit”, cause that’s just rude, even though you’re saying mostly the same.
Oh and you don’t get banned that easily, really. The people on the banlist are just a few serious offenders from what i can see.
Also: i thought this topic was created to get people to make new teams?

Since the topics name is “Recruitment and new teams” it could be.
My team was a bunch of public players who needed a last guy to compleate thair line up. Was working it seems for some reason we are now div 3 or sth like that. It took us like a year….
-Go pubbing on Festers Place or Multiplay Turbine
-Get some cool/active guys there
-Get a server
-Get a mumble server/channel
-Do not play 6on6
-If you play 6on6
-Do not call anything
-Get a other server cause the 1st one was fail
-Get a cool merc
-Get games now
-Play only russian mixes
-Get raped there
-Play more pub than 6on6! <- importand
-Suddenly enter div 4 with only div6 and low div5 experience and no plan and tactics.
-Figure out that other teams are calling things.
-Fail hard in calling
-Play more 6on6 games
-Still fail calling
-Change your name to even worth one
-Get evil player problems but do not fold
-Get someone who mentors you for free
-Fail in getting a mentor
-Find a mentor
-Loose your mentor
-Find an loose new players!
-Survife your 4th Div
-Make 4-6 teams folding
-Find a mgo
-Kick one or two players get new once
-Win your Div
-Start to react on calls
-Enter div3
-Call more
-Get tactics
-Stay in the 3rd div
-Next Season you may can win it and enter div 2 O.O

It was, although we might as well use it to get some more issues/misconceptions about recruitment topics/feedback/etc out of the way. :)
tbh searching for a new team member is a skill in itself. the clan leader should have enough brain power to sort out the ppl who say what they say they are and those that dont, and you can always trial someone cant you…

A simple sollution to this issue is:
someone grow some minerals and actually create a team or two.
i mean it’s not like there is not enough talent out there to make shit happen
the issue i see is it’s always the same players leaving teams, or cant stick it out
through a few shit results:
or they lose players start loseing motivation and fuck off and kill the rest of there team off.
the old saying rome was not built in a day springs to mind,
players have no patience or respect the guy trying to form a new clan
try to view your games stv and view the mistakes or actually discuss there ingame issues just keep playing pcw after pcw yet come up with no End product.

players want to be in high teams or just get into a higher clan not maybe help a good organised mid team improve to the next stage by dropping down to assist them get there:
hence why the scene is always going around and around with the same players always back posting for a new team A: i dont like this guy. B someone is a rager.
every team has fkin rage people get frustrated because things dont work out in a match
man you should hear my clan in mumble but the end of that taking a defeat find something positive from it and work on your own floors will probably stand a lof the teams fold in better stead if they looked at things with a more open mind to the whole thing.

-invest time trying to solve lineup, activity and teamplay issues
-keep playing despite shit leagues, shit people, shit game, cheaters, lineup problems and inactive players
-realize that tf2 is a shitty game absolutely not worth even half the effort put in it do play at decent levels
-become a pub player in any other game and finally have fun, the opposite of what you did in the past year
-enjoy the ease up

Put a recruitment guide in that outlines what each skill rating means (for example look @ gotfrag tf2 recruitment, not perfect but gives the right idea), MODERATE the recruitment section so we don’t have clanned players and people who gave up 9 years ago still there, and yea get off your asses and make your own team.
