That 125hp sticky never actually happens though, point and click with a rocket is a bit easier.

Admins or a poll (like I suggested) should decide, all arguments are clear.

this is a lie

1 sticky one-shots scouts pretty often when close enough

well, polls dont seem to work?

look at the fan poll….60% wanted it banned and its still allowed. will be pretty much the same with new unlocks.

stv demos from the cupfinal are on resupply

both teams used tdh and it didn’t feel overpowered

only the minicrits have to be removed/altered

/thread tbh

Just limit it to 1 and be done with it for gods sake.

Could’ve been about a Highlander Cup as well. It’s about the basic element of balance, the reward of a hit comparable with a noscope sniperhit like Sturmis, Berserker or myself mentioned, lolcat.

we played our last 2 WP 7v7 cl1 matches with all unlocks allowed, and neither the soldier or demo unlocks had any real impact (different to normal soldiers and demos) on the game

Time to just allow all unlocks with a limit of 1, and bring back demo limit 2 (with only 1 sticky launcher (either type) allowed)

piece

yes, 2 demos!
good idea!
and pls 2 fans…so the game is getting rly fun!

ouch

I played some pcws with the buff banner and I really liked it. Even if it is quite unpredictable every match feeled more exciting and more fast-paced without turning into a rapefest for the team which popped their trumpet.

Matches without the BB on e.g. Fastlane, Granary, Yukon and Obscure against a team as good as yours turned out to be very tight and slow. With the BB it was the other way round and I felt in love with those maps again. ;)

But I agree that the BB is quite OP at its current status. It doesn’t need much damage to deploy it and if you survive you can deploy it the next time even faster (at least i guess so)

e.g. I used the Buff Banner defending the last point on Fastlane after our Medic died in vain, and I needed only one rocket after the rage was gone to fill it up again.

Problem with dl2 is the nades, sure you can limit sticky to one but you’ll be faced with 8 (limited fall-off damage) nades randomly fired across middle points. I played during dl2 and this made middle points a spamfest. It’s still a while before the next season, and Valve are sure to make changes.

Remember if there is 4 extra nades, there will be 4 less rockets, or 1 less scattergun/fan

Demo limit 1 was introduced, as 2 sticky launchers could lock a game down, and slow it to a stand still, 4 extra nades, at the expensive of a scout or soldier wouldn’t hurt the game at all

Oh god, please don’t compare the banner to kritzkrieg. Just don’t, because they are only alike in terms of granting crits.

lolcat.

Oh lol, lolcat, now I get it, that’s witty and clever. I laughed heartily.

Watch the demos, will ya.
