Final divisions woot!

I’m not trying to have ago at league admins over an internet forum, I’m 2 old and good looking for that kind of behaviour. Besides, its clear alot of admins have put hours and hours (unpaid) into this. I was just getting some points down which in my _opinion_ seemed pretty inconsistent when filtering teams into their respective divisions

Question, gryzor. Is this “omg fucking whiners in these two clans” aimed towards my clan? Because if it is, then you’re highly mistaking wishes of balancing the divisions with whine about not getting a div2 spot. The incident with gibbz was to be expected (you didn’t help, brought it on yourself), you both acted out of line, i would slap you both.
Have we since whined about this matter?

The admins have made up their mind and the divions, c’est la vie.

– Don’t ask teams to submit screenshots of results, they clearly count for fuck all
– Actually take into account other league’s official results or at least pay attention to them
– Stop promoting teams who do “OK” in div5 (i.e. still manage to lose 4+ games yet skip division4 the next season and get slotted straight into div3) just makes no fucking sense to me regardless if they’ve shown promise, if they didnt gain promotion by winning every _single_ game then surely division 4 for the following season is logical
The only team I could find that almost fitted this description was one that submitted results which helped the admins place them in the division they are in, which discounts your point one. Many clans submitted official results which were also taken into account.
– Actually stay consistent and true to methods / reasons you give why you didn’t allocate teams in their ‘rightful’ division. I.e. monster munch and devils rejects the reason given was new members/roster shuffles.. yet sdx98 lose their medic and demoman (correct me if im wrong sdx but i seem to remember this being the case from browsing the recruitment forum awhile back) probably the 2 most important classes overall and yet remain in the same tier level.
There were too many new teams trying to get into Division 2. The Devils Rejects were relegated last season from Division 2 and sdx98 have qualified for Division 3 by virtue of being in it last season.
– Theres some teams that have 1/2 members on the roster, so maybe actually check if they have at least 6 signed up to their page
Which team? By our stats there are a few teams with only 5 players, most of which have active recruiting posts in our forums. The rest all have 6 or more players.
Just a little something on behalf of the “whiners” (this is ironic, as you will see with my following point :p) as some like to call them.
Monster Munch being in div3 is mostly not going to be fun for their opponents. They’re going to fkin rape their div (if they stick together …). It’s going to make useless cws and it’s going to screw teams that hope to go to div2. I could say the same about Internecine in div4.
What I’m trying to say is that a misplaced team is bad for all the div, not just the misplaced team.
I don’t entirely agree with the “they won their promotion” thing. If a team goes up just to get raped, this is pointless.
(PS: We’re a new team, we hoped to be in div3, we’ve been playing and collecting a shitload of screenshots for 2/3 months, and we got into div3, so we are happy.)

Please don’t associate us with the whiners, we don’t actually mind if we’re in division 3 – the only concerns we have is default wins and people not enjoying the officials vs us! I can only see vR and Rejects actively whining and to be fair out of 330 teams, thats pretty impressive.
Hopefully for us a division 2 team folds and we’ll have a larger screenshot database to send to the admins :)
You would of had a valid argument on your second quotation of me snowie if fingerprint didn’t just get put into div3

We are not whining. We are happy to play in div3. “We” (as in Loco, because he’s the only player left form the old line-up, which never got steady anyways) got relegated anyways. But we don’t see it as a challenge and ruins the chance of “real” div3 teams to get a shot at getting to div2. But maybe I’m wrong, I think we are in the toughest of the 4 div3’s so it wont be that boring. RAWR also got in a pretty decent division. Div3 actually gives us the chance to focus more on teamplay instead of worrying about officials. We can test new strats and ideas vs div2 clans without being punished for it.

I think its slightly seen as “We’d rather have div 2 teams roll div 3 then fold than play div2 instead of an active other team then fold” because if RaWR fold and play div2 they are stopping another team from playing div2.
Im not saying they are going to fold or anything but at the current rate of teams folding people dont exactly shed a tear everytime a team folds do they?

Well the real reason we’re in division 3 is because we havent had a stable lineup for just over a month now (majorly my fault!), the team still went on during that so I’m guessing we’ll be ok for this season..oh and come on koetje you have been whining..just a tiny weeny bit ;p

It’s all about knowing your players. Hell, we’d even recruite new people if people leave. We had Loco + Me at the beginning of august. We’ll survive.
