Are you people slow or something? There’s a TON of new very useful jumps the scout can do with the new fan with NO SELFDAMAGE. I never said you should use the jump in combat because the fan is already devastating in the hands of a decent scout. The scouts manoeuvrability went up a few notches and they can get to a lot of critical places a lot faster than before.

You can also jump right up to vent with the intel on turbine..
After the recent changes, I’ll join the “BAN TEH FAN!” choir.

I would agree with that jumping up into the vent is a bit on the silly side but I can’t say I think it’s broken or overpowered. Not quite balanced yet but no reason to ban it personally.

the fan’s worse now than it was before – it’s the most powerful primary weapon which now also gives incredible movement ability with zero in the way of self damage – and yeah it still basically stuns the opponent.

Good vid, a couple of failed jumps though. Needs more frags, but the song was awesome. 7/10.
rofl, i really disagree the fan is op anymore, jumping straight up is pretty useless if you can aim because 90% of the time scouts do it its easy as fuck to shotgun them because they hang in mid air for so long and they cant shoot again without fucking up their jump…
