best weapon ever, tf2 lacks of dh now.

actually fan has increased knockback on shots that do 40 damage or more. it’s possible to shoot a shot that does 50 damage which sends the enemy flying more than a full damage meatshot from the scattergun does.

We were discussing 2-3 pellet shots though, of course a half decent ~ 50 shot will very slightly push a target away however it wont shut roaming soldiers and the likes down or disrupt your flow alot.

have you ever played tf2? a 50 damage shot will completely shot down jumping roamers regardless if you are using fan or scattergun. but the fan is way more annoying to play against since half-assed 40 damage shots will send anything into the air, whereas your movement would only be very slightly interrupted by a 40 damage shot from the scattergun.

If you don’t hit 1 of the first two shots, you’re pretty much dead…
