Im sorry for asking too much but I was wondering when I challenge someone what do we do then about the maps or server if I dont have one do I say you pick server and we decide what the score is up to like he picks a server and do first to 5 wins?
Or is there a command to sort that out, Im new and as you might of read in my other post the FAQ neither does the Newcomer guide or rules help me much. I know that you can only have default weps and a few more but this only speaks about season 13 so if I was to challenge someone to a match am I aloud any wep or does the default wep rule still apply.
I don’t mean to be rude, but you really don’t need to keep making new threads every time you have a question. Contact one of the admins on the #ETF2L channel on IRC using !admin if you have questions.

However european players use the etf2l ruleset as standard.
That means win difference of 5 (1-6, 5-0, 7-2 etc are winning scores), time limit 30min for 6v6 maps. Payload maps tend to be A B, B A (meaning both teams start as attackers once and set the time) and KoTH maps are best of 5 so first to 3 wins.
The unlocks are blocked by the ETF2L whitelist. The map unless an official will be decided between you and your opponents. Usually the people with the server having more weight in the choice.
If you wanted to play a game without the default rule sets you would have to get an opponent that is happy to allow it which can be an issue, especially during the middle of a season.
Why would anyone want to practice the game playing with all kinds of unlocks when they aren’t allowed in league play? This makes no sense. If you play 6v6 in Europe you will more or less always be playing under etf2l rules.
Which server you play on is worked out between the teams via a match page in officials, see the more results page on the right there, or just worked out on irc for a practice match.

You should get yourself into a an already established team and just see how it goes instead of theorycrafting everything via questions on the forums.
I assume you are talking about 9vs9 highlander ladder?
You and your opponents decide what map you guys want to play on.
When playing against somebody, you don’t “pick” the win limit. ETF2L has a League config (and whitelist), all Official matches must be played with the settings in the config. Therefore, all practice matches will use the same settings.
A whitelist is a file that tells the server what weapons are allowed. The 6vs6 Config/Whitelist only allows Vanilla(Stock) Weapons + Some unlocks.
The 9vs9 Highlander Config/Whitelist allows the majority of the weapons in the game. Some weapons are banned.
You can find the official ETF2L Config here : http://etf2l.org/rules/configs/
