I’m sure Josh / Vlad will upload the STV from playing against quad yesturday. There was a moment in the game where quad fired 6 pistol hits at Vlad hitting every one of them, and on the 7th bullet he did a 90 degree turn to hit Josh with the last 6, killing them both, not missing a single beat. He was firing at the max rate too.

While the aiming is probably possible in that situation, in order to change to the second target in between 2 pistol shots, you would need to know which pistol shot is going to kill your first enemy in advance. Otherwise there is no way you would be able to react fast enough to change targets at a 90 degree angle at the exact moment you killed the first target. He either has reactions of a cat on speed and incredible game sense, or an external program helped him decide when the first player had died and moved his mouse for him.

I don’t really like accusing players of cheating (unless I’m sure), but he’s definately one that needs to be looked into. On Granary I would enter a scout 1v1 against him, he would hit 2 very weak hits to start with, and the 3rd shot would almost always hit for nearly 100. Obviously people get meatshots all the time, but it was so consistently the THIRD shot. I pretty much knew that if I didn’t kill him in the time we would exchange 2 shots each, I would be killed (or have under 10 hp left) on the 3rd.

That team also has an extremely dodgey soldier, the name begins with F. Prefire’s galour!

The fact “showing you didn’t cheat in one demo doesn’t prove you have never cheated at all” works the other way around too – some people have sick aim with pistol (hi jackkai) – but that doesn’t mean they cheat..
What’s wrong with finishing off using pistol when you’ve used 6 scatter shots anyway?

Because we all know the way we express ourselves must by definition tell a whole lot about maturity, education and what kind of society one has grown up in and even ethnicy! I’m glad you are once again contributing to a topic with relative information about the topic which I’m sure a lot of people will appreciate simply because it’s you.

Yes, because it’s obviously not suspicious at all if you once have been found to be cheating and when you “return” you pull off even dodgier shots and have just as dodgy if not dodgier gameplay that people might think something is up.. (for example not reloading the scattergun if you can simply unload clips on full enemies which hit the model every time. Even though every scout I know prefers to reload the scattergun because of the damage output.. But what need would there be if you know every pistol shot will hit? ;))

Guess you haven’t played against him.

He wasn’t prefiring every corner though.

It was just a quick comment to say my opinion that he was dodgey (not neccesarily cheating). There’s no point in going to deep into it without at least a STV demo to look at as it could have all ben completely innocent.

Once you have it in your mind you are playing against a ‘hacker team’, it’s very easy to find dodgeyness in every action in that game. Would have to study the demo for a while to even have a basis for a true acusation.
