Might be judged to be a pointless topic by some, but I was thinking how great it was to look at the top 3 divisions and only see 2 dropped teams. It’s underestimated, in my opinion, how much good it will do for the scene if the majority of the top 20/30 teams stay together for a decent amount of time. So nice one everyone, especially Refuse who deserve a special shoutout :)
May aswell give this topic some purpose, so I was looking to get some opinions on the premiership relegation / division 1 promotion. If this is already being discussed in detail please link me and this shall remain a congratulations thread.
I was thinking of a similar system to the playoff for the winners of the prem, by that I mean the bottom two of the prem and top two of div 1 enter into a playoff. After this is where it needs to differ from the prem playoff though, because I think the only fair way would be a round robin style playoff (everyone plays everyone) but this would mean organising 6 games which shouldn’t be a problem really but in reality it can be due to us tf2 players being layabouts. Then the top two qualify for the prem and the bottom two are put in division 1. Some questions I have are:
Should the top place in div 1 automatically qualify for the prem? (Reverse for bottom of prem)
Should there be there a seeding system in the playoff? Otherwise first and second place in div 1 are for all intents and purposes the same.
Have the admins already decided what they are doing and this thread is pointless? ;)
Massive kudos to refuse for playing it through and not call it quits even through difficult times.
I frown upon those that folded after a few loses!
SHAME ON YOU¬!

Pretty much nobody cared about afs, hence all the drops (i think my div had 3 teams left in the last week? lol)
Yeah the lack of drops is really awesome can see next season being even better :)
And regarding promo/rele for prem/div1 i’ve heard it goes like this.
Topdiv1 promoted
2nd and 3rd in div1 and 8th/9th in prem go into a play off
And ive heard that you and us have to play a playoff game for 3position all in all sounds quite fun :D
