My passwords are saved in an encrypted database on my blackberry- the password for accessing that database is in an encrypted database on my PC which requires knowing both where I store the one half of the password on my PC and in my home, and then that only contains the account information for my battlenet-account.
What will you do if you will lose your phone or your HDD will crash or something like that? :)
Brain is much better ^^ (but unfortunately it can crash too :D )

Maybe now would be a good time to enforce some basic minimum complexity requirements, although you give suggestions as to how strong your password is it’s entirely possible to set a simple password on the site.
Never under estimate just how large some rainbow tables are, I’ve got about 100gig in a single table which will reveal an awful lot of fairly complicated passwords within half an hour or so.
Can you force all passwords on this site to expire? Force people to change passwords as a matter of course would be a very good idea. Although they might not have gained access to other areas directly it’s entirely possible whoever logged in could have seen enough to start building a picture of your over all site security.

lol, i hate changing my pass every months in my e-bank, why should i do it in some etf2l?

Post your new password here so we can check it’s strong enough
So I would have to copy & paste every single (and different) password from this program to every website / ftp / whatever login, chris? cba to do so.
there is no more hate than for websites who force me to change my password regulary. it’s my fukkin right to leave it at that for ∞.

er, what’s a ‘remember password’ option?
i use that with a master password and encrypted filesystem, easy shit.

Usually i have 3-4 passwords:
-) for e-mail
-) for steam
-) for sites (i use here min. 2 passwords on various sites)
-) for messengers (msn, icq, etc)
This is pretty much what I do too.
