US HL Teams in need of a Server?

XD I’m so sorry but I read the time wrong again and now I realize the European time is forward meaning our match is on Sunday, October 3rd, 9PM EST (3AM CEST, if you want to recheck). Not Monday 9PM.

Time zones aren’t my forte. And apparently my team likes to mislead me.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I promise I won’t change it again and if I have to then I’ll jump off a cliff before I bother you again. Third times a charm though so I sure we’re fine this time. Again, really appreciate your help.

Added a timezone converter to the OP also. I get it mixed up just as easily.

Huzzah, just follow the instructions in the messages of the server.

1. Enter the server, issue in chat

!votemap mapname

to bring up voting for the map needed.

2. Stage 1 ready is to lock server with password and use ETF2L configs. Issue in chat

!match etf2l yourpassword

Server will be passworded and in tournament mode as shown by chat messages from console and the tournament mode gui up at the top. F4 will not work. :D

3. Each team then does their teamname:

!teamname name

4. Final part, 6 players from each team issue: !ready

Match will start and run for the complete round. Once done…returns the server back to deathmatch and ALL Talk.

Repeat above to start 2nd map.

I’ll try to be online for anything, just in case.

Hiya,

Due to our server being down and our opponents being pretty bad at communicating, we might be without a server for our match tonight? Could we have a slot for a 6 PM Eastern Time match tonight? I checked the calendar and it reads empty.

I know it’s 40 minutes before our match, but the server is passworded. Would it be down by our match time?

Stickied thread!!! whoa?!?! (I think) ;)

1. Original Post is updated. Change to server configuration due to Polycount update.

2. Four matches played on this server — my own, 2 with no shows (FFWs), and one partial.

I was present for the partial match (db vs girls generation). Story is match started and server crashed some portion of Map 1. Map 2 started and db did not enter the server. I just offered the server for use, I’m not an ETF2L admin or representative. I do have a server demo of the Map 1, but have not reviewed.

3. Taking server reservations for Week 2 Matches. Please follow the OP to get a response from me.

Hey there! I’d like to reserve our second match for Sunday October 10th 4PM PST (7PM EST). We are a bit confused to whether they want to play at 7EST or 9EST so if it’s possible, could we reserve a slot for 7 and 9 EST? Thanks! If it conflicts with someone’s schedule, we’ll try to narrow it down.

This is just a precaution in case they don’t have a server, since i haven’t been able to contact the other team yet. And would you be able to help us set up the match and record server side demos?

Yes, looks like that spot is good to for you. Yes a server demo will be available.

Btw, everything is working properly like it should now. Had some testing done w/ my folks and independently. ;) This is in regards to the Matchmod (using chat commands as outlined in the OP).
