Just out of sheer curiosity.. What’s the average age over there?
I really fancy going, but I don’t really know anyone and I also don’t enjoy sitting between a bunch of 12~14 year olds (might that be the case)..
From what I saw of the social people, I’d say 40% were below 18 (or at least looked it).

Mostly 18+ from waht i saw, well mostly 17+ tbh.
But i only saw about 10 people who where like 12 and they where with their parents down stairs at the expo thing.

Yeah but they werent there to play comp ;)
The ground floor where we were is perfect, no human traffic, hardly any css ragers, giant metal cross’s prevent them putting to many rows close together which helps alot when making crowds for drinking games/chat roulette etc.
It was cool, on the 2nd level it was boiling and it will only get worse come the summer.
Not as many steps to walk up in the morning! (clutching at straws with this one :D)
A question for you guys who went to i39:
I-Series is BYOM right? I’m thinking of going to i40 but my monitor is fucking huge, how did you go about taking your monitor or how did you get one there? No idea how to bring it down safely.

I would say in and around 18… The row I was on was all 18+ anyway, but there were a fair few <18 people elsewhere.

People generally drive from what I saw. You can pay extra to use a PC provided there, if it'd be that much of a hassle. Not sure if you can get just a monitor though…
I used to get someone to bring a spare monitor down for me and just drag my rig + camping gear down on the train, it may of not been high quality but its much better than trying to take an impossible amount with you.
Also you can hire a monitor on the purchase tickets section (but i think they are pretty pricey)
I don’t mind borrowing a 1024×768 monitor, I just want to make sure I have something or other to look at :)

TF2 section is on G1, G2 is horrible sat there at i38, it was boiling, thats right THE WINTER LAN WAS TOO HOT ON G2! I don’t even want to imagine the summer one on G2.
