Also if you’re looking at attending both i51 and i52 with EAS in the season ticket might just make sense because 73.60 + 77.60 (20% 2014 price, probably i52, could be 30% off not sure) plus 15 quid for EAS each time is just over 180 quid. If you are camping, or possibly think you could attend winter then it’s basically 20 quid for i53 – ie. suddenly a second place prize would become viable to cover costs + fun.
If you’re sure you won’t/can’t attend winter and/or have gold level discount then stick to singular tickets. Whatever the case – buy before 5th Jan for i51.

Interesting choice by MPUK to move this here.
Firstly, Ricoh Arena / Coventry FC have been in trouble financially for some time. I imagine MPUK got a very nice deal on this.
The stadium itself, is a very large stadium (relatively new) with good facilities and large areas for conferences. I imagine they will use a lot of the football boxes for clan boxes and there is a number of places bars could be setup. Close by (across the path – 200 meters) is a built up area including a Tesco, Pizza hut, Burger King, a Cinema and a wide range of other shops.
As for camping, this is where I don’t really know what they will do. I don’t know of any real grass areas near by. According to the video its out the back, I didnt know that :) Before you say it, you will not be able to camp on the pitch. The pitch is still what brings in the main source of income.
Accommodation: Uni Accommodation is about a 10-15 minute drive away (and I mean drive) further than the distance at Telford (not walk able). I don’t see how that will be available unfortunately. As for hotels, I know of only 1 that is close by, all the rest are not walk able.
Transport: Coventry city train Station is about 15, it will be a £10-£15 taxi. The stadium itself, has very good access to the M6 J3 motorway, which avoids the need to go through a city to get there.
And yes, there is a casino on site :)
I went to Coventry Uni and actually worked at the stadium for some time so I do have very detailed knowledge of the area. If anyone has any questions, fire away!
