As per usual if you have any questions about the event then chuck it on here and someone will be able to help.

It is no secret that this is the quietest event of the year but i’d recommend anyone come along and try it out. It’s a different feel to the large summer events so if you have a bit of spare money and the time your support for the community would be appreciated!

The biggest change of course is the admin team. The insomnia50 TF2 cup (sponsored by Aquatuning) will be run by myself and SnowiE http://etf2l.org/forum/user/849/.

Tickets are currently full price (£92) but clan group booking discounts are still available http://insomniagamingfestival.com/tickets/clan-group-discounts/

The 6v6 finals will take place on the Saturday of the event so players will have plenty of social time on Sunday. As there won’t be many teams then almost anybody stands a chance at taking a slice of the minimum £1,000 prize pool and some haribo!

Accommodation information: http://insomniagamingfestival.com/accommodation/
To my knowledge, the on-site hotels are mostly sold out – rooms are available for some nights but not all so you’ll have to investigate. I suspect most of you will have been before but if not the information is on that page for now. The university accommodation is pleasant and does the job if you’re coming on your own. It’s a few minutes by taxi.

There’s also a Premier Inn by the train station which is walkable, and I think still has rooms. Park Inn is just past the Asda and is again walkable, has rooms, but costs a tiny bit more than Premier Inn right now.
