Is there a limit on the tickets?

I think in the IRC channel the bot will tell you how many tickets have been sold.

There was a 30% discount (so £64.40) on the first 500 tickets, since it’s down to 20% now i’d expect they’ve sold atleast the 500 then, and probably another 100+ in the last week or so.

They will make lots of posts if ticket numbers are getting low (like only ‘200 tickets left’ sort of thing) so keep an eye out, but I suspect you’ll be fine for a while. The 20% discount only goes until June 6th however.

At previous events, even when it’s essentially sold out, there’s a bit of turnover. People have RL issues and can no longer attend and ask for refunds – when it’s less than 30 days to go, these refunds only go through if somone else is willing to buy a ticket. So the numbers sort of “bob along” near, but not quite at, sold out.

Of course, if you wait too long after the seat picker comes out (it’s not out yet) you might not get to sit near your mates…

Was probably more of an ‘if there is a limit, what is it?’ question, rather than a yes or no..
