Well you can either cuddle in with a friend, or buy a tent for £12 from Tesco (supermarket). You could probably get a quilt and blowup bed also, total with tent about £30.
TUP Tickets (Pc and screen rental) now made avialable, top of the range kit aswell!

is the tent area is open or is it indoors?
Tapley our arrival would be something like 18:00 CET at the venue on friday. How are the games scheduled?

Kick off should be at about 8gmt on Friday – Games may start later but schedule depends on how many teams sign up.
For those that know me, there is a possibility I will have space in my car for a pick up from Birmingham Airport / Birmingham area… digi guys I am looking at you.
I don’t have the net at my house at the moment (moving house) so if your interested get in touch with Arx or just reply on here.
P.S. Tapley – Do you have a rough idea of signups? Me and Arx are yet to pay as usual :)
cheers,
Mike

i43 looks set to be the biggest TF2 event to date irrespective of what “top teams” show up there will be a massive turnout.
Why don’t we drop Robin Walker a line see if he wants to come over?
He seemed pretty keen to get involved with DreamHack.Yes, i-Series might not be as prestigious as DH, but in terms of TF2 players under one roof I doubt you’ll find a bigger event this year.
So why not go the whole hog?Where’s Dunc?!
I like this idea!
I don’t mind trying to help with this or at least letting him know,
Mike
Last edited by beta,
I sent him 3 emails (one a month the last 3 months) and i believe Ashkan has gently asked him recently as well but nothing :[. I explained how he’ll get to visit England to soak in the atmos and be part of the biggest TF2 lan in the world! But alas….
If anyone does get through to him please send him my way! Maybe Macisum can scream at him on comms to come when they play the F2P exhibition :]
As for attendance (which may have increased since time of quote below)
By my best conservative guesstimate so far we have about 170 (give or take) people who have bought tickets so far. I’m sure there will be more people playing TF2 that i havn’t counted due to incorrect seat colours on the seat picker or if they are in a big community like INV or cantfitmyn they usually have about 2 teams each, also the MGO’s have yet to sit down so theres another 3 or 4 teams to add to the pot.
If we get over 230 people we’ll beat i40! :] All is looking good so far and as i say Summer lan is always the best! Post up here if you have any questions or fears that are holding you back from buying that all important ticket!

Actually there is official numbers out now 210 players are in the tf2 area.
And that only includes people who have set their game to TF2 – so not the MGO teams or people who have yet to set their profile up, and also doesnt count people in clan boxes, or the i43 online comp ticket winners!
Its gonna be huuuuuuuuge!

But I’m a LAN virgin, please Mr. Tapley, tell me, will it hurt much?
The TF2 player count will most likely be higher/taller than Tapley :D
