Fact is: It was packed, yes indeed, as packed as i41, eventho it was a bigger event so = fail pretty much!

I’m not sure what universe you live in, but you can’t just magically squeeze more people into the same space because more people are at a LAN. Unlike yourself I was at i39/40 and I can tell you there really wasn’t that much in it crowd wise compared to i39.

Actually i’m on the train on the way home still and this thread is becoming a source of great amusement.

I think we agree the final would have been better and more exciting with Byte + Oggy casting it!

Again, I’d quite like to meet these people. I’m not sure how great your English is, but in the UK we don’t refer to ourselves as plural.

And a final like that should be about the community really and the game… and if none cared so why were so many pplz asking for Byte?!

I mean even the director of the sounds and lights for the stage came uootep to him and said he was disappointed Byte didn’t cast this time…

WHy is there even an argument? I watched the stream and yes, there was a massive delay. Yes, the stream quality was shit. But who cares? The casting was good, so the bad quality stream didnt matter as much. Saying that Byte should go and cast the final when Pledge +crew had been casting the whole weekend is just stupid: pledge offered the co-cast spot to byte, he refused, the end.

A_spec would be sick if he could offer absolutely no insight about the game and just say what he sees, passing it over to a knowledgeable co-caster regularly. Fact is though whenever he casts tf2, his positive features (I seriously love his voice) get drowned out by the sound of anyone with a half a clue cringing at the outrageous “insight” he offers.

Pledge casted, final was bad for spectators due to reasons unrelated to pledge, someone blamed pledge and suggested byte as the savior of the apparently dismal i42 final, arguments ensued.

ALso apparently byte and pledge are mortal enemies so byte refused to cocast with pledge.
