640×480 is supported, as are all resolutions from the options menu. Use the file Scoreboard480.res. We’ll have to see about K/D :>

Not sure what you mean. If you’re having trouble setting up the crosshair, read the crosshair section in the PDF attached with http://code.google.com/p/ellshudEll’s HUD V4.1[/url]. V4 and V4.1 come with this crosshair, which needs to be enabled and scaled. The old Custom Crosshairs extension (discontinued) is not compatible with these versions since they already contain text entities named lCH1-48. If you want to use the CC extension you need to remove the existing lCH entities before installing. My internet access is limited atm, so odds are I won’t be around to help. You could try asking mantas who I believe is also using the HUD.

I wanted to shove kills/deaths on the hud but it’s alright cause basH still had his old scoreboard and I took it out of that.

These seem to be the biggest gripes that people have with the HUD. I’ve been toying with the idea of enabling people to use whatever font and colors they like.

It’s already possible to pop in pretty much any font in a minute if you know what you’re doing (as long as it is in ttf format, all otf files I’ve tried were shifted vertically and required text repositioning). For instance, Ipz has been using the HUD with Akzidenz grotesk BE Medium with great success. On the other hand, easy color configuration would require some minor changes.

As for the outline, I agree, it’s downright ugly at low res, but it’s sleek and easy to read at high res. It also scales consistently and can be used everywhere, unlike it’s pretty counterpart. I think most people are or will soon be playing at 1920×1080 or 1680×1050 and for those resolutions the outlines don’t pose a problem.

I’ll be looking into this at the beginning of June, when I have more time.
