So why would I play in to the hands of any player who does this?
Why should I have to do some boring wall jumps?
Must you suck the fun out of everything?

Although the thought of you raging after getting juggled and tagged from the floor is actually quite appealing though :D

I just want people to do proper jumps (aka getting decent airtime). Yes, I can stand back and hope people do those jumps, but usually it just ends with some dude jumping the lowest jump possible to get on the platform while taking pot shots. Of course I knock them off, but what fun is that? Why doesn’t he just get some height, airstrafe a bit etc. Because people care too much about the points, that’s why.

why practice airshots when anyone ur gonna play against isnt gonna airstrafe?

If someone low jumps, and they do this consistently, it’s easy to just put a splash rocket as they come up over the lip that lifts them back and up slightly, allowing you to do a “cheap” juggle hit on the as they drop (as they’re stopped in the air for a second just in front of you).

All the “cheap” and “scrub” tactics that are being whined about have really simple counter (most of the time), the only ones that get really annoying are people who stand directly over the edge and move to block your jump. Though again, if you’re the better player, just do that back to them, and you’ll win – as most people who use that tactic can’t do the long range second hit, for the high air juggle that follows, consistently.

My main way of playing is to emulate the person I’m playing against if I think they’re using an annoying tactic. That seems to work a lot.

I wouldn’t have it any other way, the variation between the extremes of low jumps and high jumps are what make it challenging.

If I thought everyone was going to go for height I would just look up all the time…

Shoot the edge as a low jumper is coming up to stun them for an easy hit :>

Yeah, I juggle them on the edge and get juggle airshots….woopiediefuckingdo..the hardest ones to pull off….not. Or I blast ‘m 1 inch of the wall and hit them there for an “airshot”, while they are still at the same height as the tower.

Doh Atty, but some people just care about the points and try to abuse very little advantage they can get. But I’ll stop caring about what others do, and just play.
