Confused about Viewmodel Fov

hi.
my main is solly and im playing with 90 viewmodelfov.my friend told me that playing soldier without models is really awesome.however , i read somewhere that playing with max viewmodelfox (150) , is so good that the models is coming to center and avoids the rockets to go left or right.i dont what do to do please help and give me some advice about and the reasons why i should play that with vfov.

lol, no that’s wrong. You can’t influence that with viewmodel. I can only suggest to play without viewmodel and use different coloured crosshairs for each weapon.

I have used both view models and none. I actually find it better with models, but it is also awesome without as you see more of what is happening. I use viewmodel fov 105, best way is just to fiddle around with it all and see what fits you best.

whats the disadvantages of having o high or low vfov ?
some viewmodels can block parts of the screen (something like viewmodel 60 on scattergun really does this when reloading) but nothing generally major, so it is just personal preference. For some no viewmodels is better so they can see the screen and for others something like viewmodel fov 90 on the rocket launcher gives it a “lead”, since the weapon can help you judge aim.
its completely personal preference, it is also possible to get different viewmodels for each weaponif you cant decide on one

just turn them off
No viewmodels make it feel more like Quake, which is why you don’t use them.
