I also read that people like to use the Microsoft Intelli blabla. Can a good version still be bought new? Or was it only the old series that were so good?
I have an intellimouse 3.0 and I love it just as much as my old mx518. I don’t know about the old versions but I think I have the newest, and there’s no problems. There’s really nothing too special about it but its very reliable and won’t skip pixels or anything like that. Fits low-sens players the best, but that’s also much up to opinion…

To exclude a problem with the razer drivers or other mouse filters, please test if you still have it using this: http://www.digitalise.net/2009/04/19/rinput-131-sequential-edition-released/
Didn’t do anything for my neg acc. Must just be my shit mouse.

Can you set it to the settings I use? Or something similar (dont know the IM3 dpi). And do the flicking thing?
I’ve got original DA. I use it on 1800DPI and 1000Hz and driver sens 10 (max).
Windows 7 default sens (7 if im right) and i use 1.1 with soldier ingame. I don’t have this problem.
what is cplmousefix? :D

I had exactly the same problem for about 4-5 days, i totally re-installed tf2, got m0res fps config, and it all worked fine.
It happened on every class not just soldier, i move my mouse a little to the left and it jumps.
I have a 3500dpi DA

That’s higher sens than I have. I do 35cm/360 (just measured it). Cplmousefix removes all accel from windows xp (makes your mouse feel slower, but more precise).

I just have problems with it as a soldier. Makes me fuck up those rj’s that matter (like getting to mid fast or jumping to spire quickly to block)
Think I’ll just try the IE 3.0. According to the specs it does more G’s than the Razer mice. Less inch/sec, but I don’t think that’s the problem.

Maxed out driver sens, windows default (vista 64), ingame 1.4, 1800DPI, takes about 8 cm for a 180 I guess
EDIT: Must have something to do with the maximum mouse speed, since you must be moving it a lot faster than me to RJ.

No shit sherlock :D. Just set your sens to 0.85 (if you are on 1680×1050) and flick really fast (I mean really fast :D)
I’ve just tried this; absolutely no problem with it no matter how quickly I move the mouse.

I can even replicate it in windows :S
Ordered a IEM3.0. Should have it tomorrow. I’ll report on my findings.
(I have quite a collection of mice now… DB Plasma, DB G3, DA 3500dpi, Abyssus and then the IEM3.0. )
Canceled my order on it. I need some more advise.
I use claw grip and have fairly small hands. Which would be better:

http://www.bol.com/nl/p/computer/microsoft-wheel-mouse-optical-black/1003004004222804/index.html
I have no use for side buttons.
I am also unable to replicate it regardless of how fast I flick mouse on three different pads: Steelseries SX/Goliathus Speed/Mantis Control.
Actually I rebuilt the DA I’m using now out of parts of two old 1800 dpi DA’s which were broken, entirely because I was fed up of using shit other mice with bad tracking, weight, shape or a combination.
One thing it could be is if you have a slight lift of the mouse when you do these fast flicks combined with a pad that gives low liftoff distance with DA, then the sensor can skip/malfunction.
MS 3.0 will probably not fix your problem. The sensor does work consistently the same on almost any surface but as a low sens player you will get a lot of negative acceleration on fast movements with this mouse and probably also some clipping. IE 3.0 starts skipping at about 2-2.5m/s so if you can make the DA skip chances are it will be worse on IE 3.0 unless the 3.5G DA has a compatability problem with Qck and Destructor surfaces.

U do not want these mice for low sens.

I find it weird you can’t do it with the 1800dpi DA, fadestep confirmed he could do it. My DB G3 also does it, and that mouse has the same sensor. I don’t think you flick fast enough. It doesn’t happen to me always, it only shows near the maximum speed I can get my mouse to go.
Any other options? Else I’m just going to get a Krait (since you can’t get an old DB G2 anywhere anymore) or something.
